Jeffery Farnol's romance novel, 'The Money Moon', illustrated with colour plates by Edmund Blampied, in a nice binding. This novel is a sweet romance featuring Sylvia Marchmont, who travels to Europe. Her friends expect news of her engagement to George Bellow, but instead they hear of her approaching marriage to the Duke of Ryde. Written by Jeffery Farnol. Farnol was a British writer who wrote over forty romance novels, most set in Regency England. He was alongside Georgette Heyer in dominated the Regency romance genre. Illustrated by Edmund Blampied. Blampied was a prolific artist from the Channel Islands. He also illustrated editions of 'The Roadmender' by Michael Fairless', 'Black Beauty' by Anna Sewell, and 'Travels With a Donkey in the Cevennes' by Robert Louis Stevenson. With a colour frontispiece, and twenty-two colour plates. Undated, dated from Copac from a copy held at Cambridge University. Collated, complete. In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Some light marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with the odd scattered spot. Very Good Indeed
