Livermore, Maine: Signal Tree Publications, 1998. First Edition. Octavo. 22cm. Publisher's deep red paper covered boards titled in gilt to spine. Dustjacket. 266pp. [3pp] Index to rear. A clean, sharp copy with a nasty bump to the head of the spine, with corresponding damage to the dustjacket, which has a closed tear at the spine corner of the rear panel, reinforced with tape to the verso. A very good copy which has suffered a single visible mishap. Internally clean, inscribed by the author to a front flyleaf:
"To Norma, may the creator bless you and your family always, 8-25-2001, Delano Cummings"
Laid in at the front is a promotional bookmark for the book, in the colours of the Native American Vietnam Veterans flag. Cummings served three tours in Vietnam between 1966 and 1971, initially with the 2nd Battalion, 1st Marines and subsequently with elite recon units.
