About This Item
New York: Viking, 1946. First printing. Variant B binding, with green cloth and yellow lettering. The dust jacket is Variant B, with the face pictured on the front panel, yellow spine lettering, and "printed in U.S.A" on the rear flap. The front flap DOES have "The Viking Press" on the front flap, however. A very nearly fine, unmarked copy, with a bit of shelfwear and lightly bumped at the corners. The dust jacket has small chips at the spine ends and a short creased tear on the front panel. There is a scribble faintly pencilled on the face pictured on the front panel. The rear panel is soiled. The price, $2.50, is present on the front flap. In Brodart archival dust jacket protector.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Good+. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
