About This Item
Toronto: McClelland & Stewart Ltd, 1964. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Lucille Oille. pp: 149. FIRST EDITION. The story of two questionably sane nautical rookies who decided to sail from Georgian Bay to the Gulf of Mexico in an 18-foot outboard. The author recounts their adventures along the way. The book is illustrated by Lucille Oille, the author's wife. This copy has been signed by Wells at the top of the title page. A very good copy with a little fading of the light blue colour at the very edges of the boards. The jacket has a small section of chipping on the rear panel, near the spine, and moderate edge wear, more apparent at the base of the spine than elsewhere. The jacket is now protected with a Brodart cover. Signed copies of this author's work are uncommon.
