The text is illustrated with two inserts of 16 pages each of black-and-white photography from Bette Davis's life. 1/4 cream coloured back strip with black titles. 3/4 pale purple coloured boards. Bumping to the head and to the heel of the back strip and there is some discolouration to the lower back strip edge. The spine is slightly cocked. Marks to the top text block edge. Photographic dustwrapper, of Bette Davis, with white and purple title to the front panel and back. Rubbing and creasing to the top and bottom dust at the edges and there has been some rubbing of the dustwrapper panels. The biography of Bette Davis one of the most hardworking and iconic actresses of the 20th century. This is the first UK edition. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
