More Very Young Songs with Rare Dust Jacket and Advertisement

by A.A. Milne

Condition: Very Good +/very good +

London: Methuen, 1928. First edition. Hardcover. Very Good +/very good +. E.H. Shepard. A.A. Milne More Very Young Songs 1928 first edition with dust jacket is for sale from The First Edition. The dust jacket is in Very Good condition with wear to the top and bottom of the spine with minor loss; slight wear to the edges of the dust jacket; and a few marks gathered over time. However, the faults are minor since the large jacket remains attractive and mostly complete without any serious damage or faults. The original brown binding has a tan coloured spine and publisher's illustrated label attached to the front board. The label features two E.H. Shepard illustrations, one of Winnie the Pooh and the other of Christopher Robin. The boards are in Very Good condition with slight knocking to the top and bottom of the spine. The publisher's illustrated label is in Fine condition. The pages are in overall Very Good condition with light browning to the endpapers, which is usual for these books; and cracks to a few of the internal hinges, although all the pages are firmly bound in. Additionally this example of A.A. Milne More Very Young Songs song book has an advertisement loosely inserted for The Christopher Robin Calendar 1929 and When We Were Very Young Notepaper.
