New York: The Viking Press, 1973. Hardcover. Near Fine/Fine. First edition. Spine ends lightly bumped, else near fine in a fine dustwrapper. Advance copy with publisher's materials laid in. Also, laid in, are two typed letters Signed by the author and three black and white photographs. Three hundred people signed up for the "whoopee cruise" to escape the stress of the Depression. A trip aboard one of the "safest ships afloat" proved to be anything but.
