Condition of hardcover: Light age toning, darker on top edge; former owner's name on first free endpaper; else overall Very Good. Free of the smell of a cigarette or cigar smoker. Book kept in temperature-controlled cabinet. Dustjacket: Lightly age toned, darker at spine panel and creases; small piece missing from foot of spine panel; chips and shelf wear to extremities, some abrasion marks (mostly at spine panel); the letters "JJ" stamped on first flap and first paste-down endpaper; else overall Good. Price intact on rear flap. Dustjacket protected in Mylar cover. This is a play, in eight scenes, a devastating comment on the post-war world. It's a brilliant, barbed, and passionate indictment of a world that learned nothing from the war.
