New York: Harcourt, Brace and Company, 1929. An early collection of twenty stories by the great Irish author. This is a Near Fine copy of the First American Edition. Not common. Rippled brown paper-covered boards with a tan linen spine; brown titling on the spine. Clean text; 287 pages, with brown topstain. Mildly bumped, else Fine.The dustjacket is Very Good, unclipped, but shows edgewear with some chips at the margins; with one large chip at the foot of the spine carrying through about 1-1/2" onto the front panel; spine and rear panel are darkened. In an archival plastic protector.. First American Edition.. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Very Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
