In near fine red cloth boards, gilt titles to spine. The covers are very clean and tight. The rear free end paper is foxed; dedication on front free end paper; others clean. Slightly tanned cut edges. The text block is very, with tight and mostly clean pages (page 10 has grubby fore edge). Lovely drawings by Nan Fullarton and black and white photos. In good red dust jacket, black and white photo of sea birds in flight on front; edges chipped with a few small tears. Price clipped. Scarce.

Heinemann, 1960. Hardcover. Good/Acceptable. 1960. First Edition. 59 pages. Orange pictorial dust jacket over red cloth.Contains black and white illustrations by Nan Fullarton. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. Book has a forward lean. The clipped dust jacket has moderate edge wear, tears and chips to edges and spine ends. Light tanning to spine and edges. Tape to spine interior.
