Illustrated by Margery Gill. 'Mr. Fairweather lived all by himself, and he was very lonely. But one day he met the nicest woman in the world, and as he was tired of living on his own, he decided to get married. So Mr. and Mrs. Fairweather went to live in a little grey stone house with a blue front door. But they longed for a baby and, as they were unable to have one of their own, they decided to adopt one'. This picture story is planned not only to please and amuse young children, but also to be an aid to their parents. Margaret Kornitzer presents the question of adoption in a clear and sympathetic, and Mr. Fairweather and His Family will be of great assistance to those wanting to broach the subject with young children for the first time. **** SCARCE IN DUSTJACKET ****.
