VG+/VG condition Yale University Press New Haven 1956 1st edition hardcover Large 8vo, 61+ pages, 6 color plates. 27 letters reflecting the personality of the first American to achieve world fame, issued on the ocassion of the 250th anniversary of Franklin's birth. Letters were drawn from the papers of Benjamin Franklin under the sponsorship of the American Philosophical Society and Yale University. DJ price clipped with some light soiling to rear and some light edgewear, but nice in Brodart protective cover.
