NY: Harcourt Brace & Company; (1940). First Edition . Hardcover. Dust Jacket Included. Presumed first edition (no statement of printing on the copyright page), near fine in a very good dust jacket. A little minor soiling to the page edges. The pink jacket is sunned on the spine, the lettering and decorations there faded almost to illegibility. The rest of the jacket is fairly bright, and the $2.00 price is intact on the front flap. No names or other writing in the book. The basis for the Academy Award winner for Best Movie, and the film for which Greer Garson won a Best Actress Academy Award.
