A First Edition (Stated) of this classic chidren's tale. Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle has moved to the country and is surrounded by many farm and country animals where her magic cures the bad habits of the children sent to live with her.
No dust jacket. No internal markings, hinge is tight. Corners slightly bumped. Boards are slightly soiled and there is a fading to cloth binding in the upper-right front corner from a possible moisture stain. Black and white illustrations throughout by famed children's book illustrator and author Maurice Sendak.
