London: John Lane, The Bodley Head, 1903 Book. Good. Hardcover. 11, [1], 351, [1] pages + 4 pages of adverts at the rear. A folding map acts as frontispiece. 1st edition, 2nd impression. Published anonymously, but apparently by John Arthur Hamilton. A historical novel set in Lincolnshire. Some spotting throughout, particularly to the folding map. In the original cloth this is now darkened and worn. Ink name partly erased to the front pastedown and another ink name and address to the front free end paper. Spotting and browning to the end papers also..
