FIRST EDITION, (1929). 4to, 285 x 230 mm, 11¼ x 8¾ inches, bright colour illustrated boards by King (different upper and lower), blue and yellow pictorial endpapers, 56 pages. Coloured frontispiece, orange and grey title illustration and 11 enchanting full page coloured illustrations plus very pretty smaller monochrome and 2 colour illustrations all around the text in wide borders. No inscriptions, a Fine unmarked unread copy with very bright boards and spine in original near Fine glassine wrapper, 5/- price printed on inner flap (glassine dw: 5 mm chip at tail of spine, tiny chip at head of spine and at foot of folds).
