Manuel Kantor (1911 - 1984) Also Known As "Menke", Was An Argentine Painter, Political Cartoonist, Engraver, Draftsman And Muralist. He Liked To Use Irony To Portray Reality Through A Neo-Cubist Style. He Lived And Traveled In Numerous Countries, Including France, Israel, Italy, Greece, And Brazil. In His Early Days, Kantor Worked As A Newspaper Illustrator In The 1920S, Achieving Great Success In Photojournalism At The Time. His Caricatures Were Published In The Newspapers La Razón, Diario, El Patriota, Orientación And La Hora, Between 1936 And 1945 .. Kantor Made Drawings Against Nazism And Fascism With Explicit Sarcasm. His Works Show His Discontent With The Advent Of The Second World War And "Alternate The Perception Between The Clumsy And The Sinister Of The Figures Of The Führer And The Duce" (Hitler, Franco And Mussolini). Among These Works Are: "And The Plebiscite Arrived" (1936), "The Duce's Wardrobe" (1937), "Spanish Nationalist Ministry" (1938) And "Soviet Offensive" (1944).
