Fascinating guide to old coins using a clever and, to this day, effective printing process in which 120 plates of reproduced coins are actual size and in silver or gold relief, as appropriate. Please see representative photo of one of the plates. Binding, slightly cocked, is a bit worn and several leaves suffer slight dampstaining not affecting text. Faint foxing throughout. Generally, the book remains in hearty condition. Good+. Bookbinder tag is from Philip Kohl, St. Louis.
