Furthermore, as seldom happens in these cases,he is instrumental in giving Poirot one of the most valuable clues to the mystery.Regarded by many authorities to be the finest and most controversial of her works,this was her first work for Collins,June,1926. Sayers on the ethics of this novel's famous denouement pointing out that 'it's the reader's business to suspect everybody'.
