New York: Coward McCann, 1943. Bound in dusty rose cloth with red stamping on upper board and on spine. Spine ends softened, ink name on front pastedown and a crossed out name in ink on the front free endpaper, and one page with a faint marginal stain, otherwise book is clean, unmarked and tightly bound. Dust jacket is not price-clipped (retaining the published printed price of $2.00) and the spine panel is un-faded, however there are signifcant tears, and there is wear along the top edge. The longest tears have have been repaired on the blind side with clear tape. A Gargoyle Mystery, the requirements for such are listed on the rear flap of the dust jacket. 257 pages.. First Edition. Hard Cover in Dust Jacket. Near Fine/Fair.
