About This Item
Dublin: M.H. Gill and Son Ltd., 1917. Hardcover. Good. Dublin: M.H. Gill and Son Ltd., 1917. First edition. Good. A surprisingly rare first edition. The book itself does not bear the close scrutiny of literary critics and one has to wonder that if her brothers had not been executed after the Easter Rising, it would not have ever seen the light of day. Gilt lettering faded on spine, interior with some mild foxing, the pages yellowing but otherwise clean, a crack in the binding on page 16, otherwise quite sound.
