[good solid clean copy, light shelfwear, slight exposure of board at bottom corner of front cover, one-time owner's signature at top left corner of front pastedown; jacket is heavily edgeworn, internally reinforced with brown paper tape, some paper loss along front hinge, at lower left corner of front panel and rear panel ("filled in" with the brown paper tape in those places), etc.]. (B&W photographs) Memoir by the co-founder (with Konstantin Stanislavsky) of the Moscow Art Theatre, pitched in the jacket blurb as "a fitting complement" to Stanislavsky's book "My Life in Art." .
