Minor bumping to spine ends of red boards, otherwise a good clean tight copy of this hard-cover book. Originally published in 1936, this is a later edition from 1950, part of the publisher's ''Beacon Library'' series. The author worked for British Intelligence in Belgium during WW1, being undercover as a nurse in a German military hospital. She wrote several books on her experiences, and other, fictional books of spy stories. Unfortunately fact and fiction tend to blend together in all her stories.. 192pp.. Hard Cover. Good/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
