Akron, Ohio: Saalfield Publishing Company, 1936. Not stated. Hardcover. Fair/good. 247 pgs. Two girls spending a summer in Mexico are kidnapped while trying to help their young Mexican friend. Green cloth binding with black titles on front cover and spine. Cover boards bent and curved, stains on front cover, light edge wear with bumping of corners and spine ends, pencil gift inscription on front fixed end paper, pages yellowing, wormed at edges (does not affect text), binding tight. Illustrated dust jacket with red titles on front cover is discolored by age, short tears and small chips in edges of jacket, 1/2 inch tear in top edge of jacket back, not clipped.
