The First UK printing published by London: Arts & Letters in 1919. The BOOK is in near Fine condition. Original white boards printed in red, Vorticist design to front board by Wyndham Lewis. Boards are very slightly dust-soiled. The book has been inscribed and signed by the author to the half-title : 'For Morley Kennerley, Herbert Read, 30.X.1930'. Morley Kennerley's personal bookplate is loosely inserted. Morley Kennerley was a leading figure and Director at the publishers 'Faber'.
