Four-panel two-sided colour pamphlet advertising activities to celebrate Nanaimo's Centennial in 1974. 6 x 12 inches when opened. Includes 15 black and white photos of performers visiting the Harbour City, including: Red Bone, Catherine McKinnon, John Hewer (of the Pig & Whistle TV show), Fiddler Al Cherny, Dennis Day, Nichelle Nichols (Lt. Uhura from Star Trek), and many more. Includes considerable text which describes many additional activities for the whole family. Clean and unmarked with light wear. A nice piece of Nanaimo ephemera. Bonus: includes 18 x 10" folded news clipping, dated 1974, which includes reproductions of archival photos of local businesses: Western Fuel Company, The Talbot Hotel, and Tom Weeks Chevrolet, plus a 1934 class photo of students at Thomas Hodgson School which includes Chuck Wong who went on to become a respected Nanaimo Restauranteur..
