Third edition (first in this form) of Shipton's first mountaineering book, describing his 1934 expedition, the first to enter the Nanda Devi sanctuary and reach the foot of the mountain. DJ is price clipped with rubbing to edges with slight loss to top of spine, Mild bumping and toning to edges of grey cloth boards. Foxing to page edges but contents clean and tight. Good.
