Paris: Payot, 1929. Fourth impression, August 1929. Hardback. 584pp. Contemporary dark brown leather spine over marbled boards with gilt to spine. Marbled end papers, top edge gilt, silk page marker. Original card covers bound in. Sixteen black & white illustrations. Text in French. Book in very good condition. A little rubbing and some wear around the edges. Ex libris plate of Jean de Bavier to front paste down. A little toning to the paper - mainly around the edges. Some very light and very sporadic spotting.
