Gilt writing on the spine is sharp, gilt emblem and borders on the front cover are very sharp. No bookplates, no owner names or stamps. Fold-out map has a crease on the outer edge the length of the map. This has no bearing on the reading of the map. Top edge is gilded and quite bright. 278 pages, book is clean & binding is tight. A quite nice copy; available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box.
