Soft cover. 12mo. 19cm, 5-22, [1]p., in the original plain grey wraps, string bound, in recent grey cloth protective case, with black leather spine label, fine, very rare. (cgc) T.P.L. 619. Sabin 46140, cf. Evans 25825. Amicus - 1 on fiche. Not in Lande, Dennis, Casey, Holyke or Gagnon. - Reverend Milton was sent out from England as a missionary to Nova Scotia in 1788 by the Countess of Huntingdon. This narrative gives a fascinating insight into his successful attempt to convert two chronic Irish criminals. A footnote outlines the background of both Fitzgerald and Clark. Milton escorted them to the gallows.
