Previous owner's bookplate on the fpdep. Gilded page edges, lightly scuffed. Bound in light brown cloth on bevel boards with gilt titles and black accents. Scratched on the lower board. Lightly worn and faded around the edges. Lightly faded on the spine. 1 volume edition. VG. Hardcover. Very Good.

No date c. 1850Both volumes bound together in red cloth boards with stamped gilt decoration on cover, same plus lettering on spine. Sides of text block marbled. Condition is VERY GOOD ; wear to corners and ends of spine, covers slightly sunned with gilt dulled. Spine slightly toned with gilt darkened. Binding very nice and tight. Text very clean with number 50 in blue ink on front pastedown. A fat, small, fascinating edition of this renowned work. Nautical. RGR.
