Between the Preface and text are family register pages which have bee part completed with family names of Bruce, Barnes, Aldridge in the 1940s. Portrait Gallery pages remain blank. Leather is rubbed at edges and spine-ends, binding is sound, pages and plates are clean, there is some foxing to reverse of plates. No dust jacket, as published. Undated by publisher.
