Forest Glen, MD: National Park Seminary, 1934. Introduction to the school for potential students, well illustrated throughout in both black and white and color, plus a color frontis and color folding plate of Washington DC. Accompanied by a sad letter dated September 1942 to students and alumni from the school's president indicating that the school - adjacent to Walter Reed Hospital and Rock Creek Park - was closing as the government acquired it by eminent domain for use as a hospital expansion. Pictorial white cloth printed in colors, 166 pages. Covers have some soil and foxing, otherwise very good condition with good hinges, firm text block, very clean pages, no names or other markings.. Hard Cover. Good. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
