Side folding tabloid newspaper format. 8 pp. An underground newspaper published in an effort to organize and distribute information on student strikes across the country, including high schools, colleges and universities. The strikes were held to seek release of political prisoners such as members of the Black Panther Party; a halt to the Vietnam War; and the complicity of universities in feeding the US war machine. This issue with a printing of the 1966 Black Panther Party Platform and Program on the rear cover. News of strikes and protests from various campuses across the country, etc. GOOD condition. Horizontal fold crease present. General toning. Minor soiling. Light chipping along the extremities.
