Leslie judge company publishers New York-Doubleday, page and Company, 1917. Poor. publication of Leslie-Judge Co. A copyright of 1917 is stated, and no indication of edition is given. The 338 complete pages of text, maps, illustrations, and B&W photographs are clean, although, the book is separated between the copyright page, which is detached and the introduction; yet, not at the back of the book. This is not an ex-library copy. it was a family copy from a relatives childhood. the binding is not tight, it's loose there is where on both top and bottom and the corners pretty much all the way around the book. And even though it's in such poor shape it still is really neat, and readable. in its heyday it was a wonderfully produced book. The cover art on the front although it has where is quite unique with the representations of flags on the cover the printing on the edge of spline has lost its color however you can still make out the printing and design work.there are probably more than corners on pages, that are folded. The interior just inside the books cover of lost some of the paper the woman who owned its name is written in the first page and there is quite a bit of darkening and wearing of about the first 10 or 11 pages of the book. It's really kind of a shame it's not worth more.
