About This Item
Ottawa, Ontario, Canada: Department of Resources and Development, Forestry Branch, 1949. Oversized paperback without dust jacket, second (1950) printing, xviii + 293 pages, illustrated on almost every page; one heavy concaved spine crease but still tight in binding, waterstaining to both covers and inside both covers and facing pages, waterstain along bottom edge visible in bottom margins of last 30 - 60 pages to varying degrees (no affect on text), pages otherwise very clean and unmarked, surprisingly fresh and white for age, and overall the lovely musty earthy aroma of a Canadian basement (and someone left a leaf inside for you to identify!). See also our listings for Jay Conrader extremely scarce Northwoods Wildlife Region, and Meridel Le Sueur's North Star Country (buy two or more and save on postage!). . Soft Cover. Good.
