Previous owner's bookplate on the inside of the front cover, traces of foxing to the top of the first page, creasing of the corners of the rear panel. Internally clean, no annotations. There is tipped in at page 17 an erratum correcting an image. No other damage to describe. The book looks at marine fishes in mammals, intertidal ecology, physical oceanography of Gulf St Vincent and investigator Strait, freshwater invertebrates, terrestrial fauna and aquatics vertebrates, the Aboriginal inhabitants and their environment, vegetation, history of groundwater development, climate, soils, geomorphological evolution & geology.
