John Van Voorst, 1845. Believed First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 362pp, lacks dust wrapper, no inscriptions, illustrated. Slight rubbing to edges of boards especially to edges and top and bottom of spine no bumping or fading. Five raised bands to spine with gilt decoration which is only lightly rubbed, gilt decoration to cover also in good order. Text is in very good condition with no marks or turned over corners, appears to have been only lightly read, one small stain to page edges which affects pages 182 to 195, does not affect text or illustrations. End papers and edge of text block marbelled. Overall a very good condition copy. Heavy book, please inquire for postage outside the UK.
