Includes 2 early photographs mounted inside the covers, one being "The Wakes", Gilbert White's Home in Selborne "It is about to Sold and the British Nation may buy it". The other being The Parish Church at Selborne. " Where Gilbert White preached and where he is buried". Pencil notations on the endpapers, and occasionally in the book. Binding and hinges tight, in blue cloth, partial loss to paper spine label.
