Including a memoir and an autobiographical sketch of life at Rosehall. Featuring forty charming tissue-guarded etchings by George Reid and J. Wycliffe Taylor. Charles St. John was an English naturalist and sportsman. His work was influential in the development of red deer stalking in Scotland, and is known as an all-time classic. In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear, some chipping to the head and tail of the spine, some darkening to the spine, minor damp marking to the spine and boards. Library bookplate to the front pastedown. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. Minor cockling to the leaves due to tight binding and type of paper used. With forty tissue-guarded etchings by George Reid and J. Wycliffe Taylor. Very Good
