John Van Voorst, 1866. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1866. No Edition Remarks. 132 pages. No dust jacket. Green cloth with gilt lettering. Rough-cut pages. Light thumb marking, foxing and tanning to pages. More prominent to text block edges and free endpapers. Moderate cracking to gutters and rear hinge causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has minor tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Book has a slight forward lean.

London: John Van Voorst, 1866 A very good copy in the original decorative cloth binding. The binding is bright and sound with light pulling to spine ends and light wear to corners. Boards with bevelled edges. Original brown endpapers present with slight marking to the front endpapers. Contents with frontispiece; title page with vignette; preface 2pp; text 132 pp and publisher's catalogue at the rear. Contents very clean with the occasional light mark or spot eg small mark at the bottom of p 89. Old ownership signature to rear of front endpaper.
