An original color drawing by Ernest Franklin, additionally signed by Ernie Bulow, Tony Hillerman and Ernest Franklin on the front free endpaper. 215 pages, bibliography. The foreword by Tony Hillerman is a fascinating introduction to Navajo culture. Ernie Bulow has presented an amazing number of insights into the everyday life and death, from childhood, puberty, sex, art, work, and pleasure, and the realities of old age. A fine copy bound in rust cloth centrally stamped in gilt depicting a bull's head, spine lettering gilt, in the fine original cloth slipcase. An exceptionally nice copy.
