Binding of deep navy cloth with sharp and bright gilt titles on front and spine, very clean and unmarked, no wear to extremities; tight & sound sewn binding; internals as new. Text block fore edge has a small brown spot and the bottom edge has several very pale spots--other than these spots, the book is in Fine Condition. Clean green jacket has light wear around edges, back side is rubbed. An account of the life of the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth in India. It is a history of those years of the original missions, of the growth of an indigenous sisterhood, of the founding of institutions and missions that spread gradually to many parts of India. Afterword by Margaret Maria Coon, SCN, and Anna Catherine Coon, SCN, with a personal narrative by Joel Urumpil, SCN, brings the story of Nazareth in India closer to the present by narrating the Sisters' ventures in Nepal. 264 pages. 9.25 x 6.25 inches.
