In this volume the author "surveys the Negro's contribution to the culture of both state and metropolis since 1626" Book has some age spotting to the rear blank endpaper, but is otherwise in sound very good condition. The price-intact dustwrapper is a bit soiled and worn, but is still in attractive good to very good condition. NIcely INSCRIBED by the author on the front endpaper and dated in year of publication.
