The remains of the front panel of the jacket have been pasted to the front free endpaper. Library stamps and a sticker pasted to the back board. Front free endpaper has nearly 2 cm clipped from the top, all corners soft and bumped. A solid reading copy to fill a gap in the collection.

Pages remain clear with minimal tanning and foxing, mild to end-papers and text-block edges. Some occasional mild cracking to gutters throughout, binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Moderate tanning to spine.
