"This unedited two-volume history of the 26th Battalion was produced for the purpose of presenting copies to selected librairies and archives where researchers and others who are interested would be able to read of the deeds of those who served in the Unit." Both volumes are bound in this copy, and a 16-page Index of Names in Battalion History is laid in. Typewritten, and bound in green cloth/boards with gilt titles. Note that the illustrations and maps included in the first edition were not incorporated in this draft. Signed by all 3 authors and with a hand-written note signed by Bryan O'Leary. As new.
