About This Item
Scribner's, 1979. Hardcover. Good/none. First edition thus - this is the revised version of her excellent 1966 cookbook, with the essay on the "nickel dinner". This copy has seen better days. The DJ is missing, and in its place a previous owner has glued a color copy of a picture of the front cover of the book onto the front cover. It appears that a sticker was removed from the lower part of the spine, taking part of the cover with it. (Please see photos!) Finally, the book has a liquid stain at the top of the front cover near the spine, and the staining extends to the top of the text block (about the size of a dime) and inside to the front endpaper and then, very faintly, to the first few pages. As poorly as it was treated on the outside, the inside is (aside from the aforementioned stain) clean and shows no signs of ever having been read.

Hi! I'm a small bookseller with a couple of decades of experience offline slowly bringing my stock online. I have a wide variety of items, but as I make more available you might notice larger numbers of cookbooks, science fiction, and the just plain odd.
