About This Item

Atlanta: the author, 1969. Pamphlet. 17p., 8.5x11 inch sheets stapled at corner, "Prepared for Negro Digest, March 1969." (It was indeed published there; an online transcription is almost identical to this version). In the context of Northern universities seeking to make up for lost time by hiring talented Black faculty and diversifying their student bodies, Harding warns of the evisceration of traditionally Black colleges.
