Exterior shows minor spotting and very light edge bumps. This is a presentation copy from the Engineer's National Committee and has a tipped in paper presenting this book to Henry G. Perring. Col. Henry Garfield Perring was the first president of the Maryland Association of Engineers. The the front end page also has Henry Parring's initials penned along the top. No other handwriting noted in book. Binding is tight and pages are clean, no hinge cracks present. Copyright page states second edition: January 1929.
