About This Item
London: Cobden-Sanderson, 1929, 1929 Decorative Boards. Fine/Near Fine. Private Press Special Numbered. Signed by the great Rex Whistler. This is number 138 of this limited edition of 360 copies. A beautiful production, chiefly valuable for Rex Whistler collectors. But there are some wonderful contributors to the book; they include Cyril Connolly, Hilaire Belloc, Rose Macauley, Siegfried Sassoon and many others. Vellum spine and corners are faded as usual with this book, and the decorated book cover is a bit scruffy, but it is much more protected than is usual by the now hard to find jacket. This makes this rare and special book a perfect collectable, especially with its famous signature. 0.0 0.0 0.0. Signed by Author. Limited Edition.. Hardcover. Near Fine/Near Fine.
